Heaven Sent

I had a dream that i could fly
looking down from above
Seeing clouds sailing by
And from deep inside i felt so much love
Traveling over the tops of trees
Even the sun sometimes makes me sneeze
It shines on me and keeps me warm
As the wind comes from an impending storm
The sky goes dark there is no where to hide
Then two angels come and fly along side
To keep me safe away from harm
As we travel together the things we see
So amazing this cannot be
for this I know i cannot say
What I was shown was just for me
I will remember who i met

And always remember what she said
You don’t have to fly to be free
You can just be free to be
So now I know what she meant
My mother the angel was heaven sent
And I am free

It was upon a summer’s night
That I did see a star so bright
It shone about the world so brightly
It filled me with great love
I’d never felt for the universe Unknown
That life its self matters not?
Only the love we feel
Is all that matters?
Including our fellow man in worlds unknown

Happy Times.

When I was very young I remember I song I sang.
I sang it every day no matter come what may.
It made me feel so happy so happy in every way
Would you like to wish on a star
Carry moon beams home in a jar
Round and round it went in me head
And then I would be sent to bed
I would still sing to myself so no one could hear
The on went the record player down stairs
Then I could sing loud and clear.
Because no one could hear.
Then one day the music stopped
Guess what they could hear
Me singing at the top of my voice.
And every one did cheer
Then I heard some clapping and shouting from below.
Me Dad came and got me and made me sing oh no
And after I had finished.
They said please again, by now I was so sleepy
And I could not take the strain.
So off to bed I went gladly
And never did complain
Just to go to sleep
To dream of stars and moonbeams
In my happy home

My Parents

With loving hearts and open minds
My parents were two of a kind
Always with other family’s on there mind
Helping here and helping there helping family’s every where
Some with clothing some with food
Sharing with people is what you do, is what I was told
‘If you can’t help someone’ Dad would say
Do it now don’t leave it till another day
They might be hungry they might be cold
One day to we will all grow old
It’s something we can’t stop but we can help
That’s what I was always told
Loving and caring for our fellow man
It’s the least we can do why we can?
Loving and caring is more precious than gold

If I could be a bird I would be an Eagle
Its massive wings I could enfold and protect you
Magnificent eyes to see for miles to watch over you
To feel at home in the sky flying high being free just to be
Going with the wind and the rain to refresh me
A journey not in vain
Souring high above the mountains enjoying the view
I would take you on my back and let you see what I see
Never ending energy flowing freely through me
And all living things
The world should be at peace with its self
But its always searching for something that cannot be,
So now I realise what I see
I am not an Eagle

Seasons

The memory of time slips by as the days draw shorter,
As the Sun rises each day bright and clear
We watch the winter moon shining in the cool blue sky of day
Time never stops presses on with the tick of a clock the cry of a baby or the sweet sound of chirping birds whistling the messages to each other
High up in the trees making them selves warm for winter
Ready or the winter rains and winds,
They will be safe as can be high up in there tree
Waiting for spring and the blossoms so they can see
To hide there nests safely from view
Then as there young are sheltered from the storms
And as they hatch they two will sing the sound of spring
As they chirp the sound of hungry baby birds
Then on day they will sing a sweet sound there mother will love
And they will learn to fly for them selves
And they two will start the cycle all over again
As the warm summer sun touches our skin
And we bath to keep cool in a shiny blue Pool
As the days draw longer and the hot nights keep us awake
We think of cooler days
Then one day the leaves will start to fall orange and Red and then brown
We know its autumn as we prepare for winter once more
And the frost upon the ground

Today I witnessed a life

passing away in front of me
There was nothing I could do
I thought of the pain that must have endured
Watching others removing this life was devastating
Watching it falling piece by peace
Being carted away bit by bit
And their was nothing I or any one could do
To save this life
There was permission to do this
No one could argue the fact
And others could be in danger because of it
But that did not stop the fact it was a life
Living and helping us to breath
As they started to saw down the limbs
They would put them through a machine and it was gone
I could not hear the screams And I could not feel the pain
But I will think again

of the wonder of that wonderful
Gum tree that gave us shade
And gave rest to many others passing by possums, and birds,
Insects and the other living creatures it protected all this time
And may it rest in peace
And I thank God for the sun shine that shines each day
And the wonder of being able to see the sky in its place.

Earth Angels



To the depths of my soul I reach within to find solace
From a world so full of sin and pain
They speak so free of what they do
I’m not part of this world I’m so true
True to myself is all I need
If others don’t understand I’ll plant a seed
To open there eyes to what is wrong
For the people of this world they feel they cannot be wrong
I’m free to express my self in what I say
If only they would listen and maybe prey
Then we would have change day by day
For the good of all mankind is what I say
The angels are there to listen and help
If only we could hand over our self
Instead of trying to fix it our selves?
This world would be a better place
And we wouldn’t be thinking of travelling to space
Were not alone in this vast universe
So let us try to understand
We must take care of our wonderful land
That we call earth
For it’s our home
And I’m sure we are not alone.

What I remember was a wonderful smell

Angels.

The Angels watch over us
Just a thought from us will be answered in a special way
The Angels inspire our thoughts when we get confused
And help us in times when we feel used
Loving us for who we are
Never judging us in any way

Patiently watching over us every second of every day

For without them were would we be?

I gently dream of another time
Of memories long forgotten
Of Kings and Queens and gentle folk
Of rolling hills and winding streams
And Mountains full of heather
Purple tops and carpets
Flowing down the countryside
We stop to pick some and to our delight we
Find a rare surprise
Happy children playing games
With a sparkle in there eyes

Oh How wonderful to be child like and having fun
Picking blue bells and daisy chains
And watching them play and run
Then I awake and realise that now my dream has gone
Until I can dream again I am here and now

Remember

Remember

When I was very small and most adults were very tall
Rooms were very big or so it seemed to be
Memories of jam tarts and eccles cakes
My Grandma used to make
Jelly creams and apple cake and sandwiches
And toast spread with Jam or potted paste
Sunday was a special day when the shops would be closed
And people would have a day of rest
When we would all go to church and wear our Sunday best Sunday tea was a special time
We nearly always went to grandmas
She would say what would you like to try
I would eat one of every thing
Then my stomach would start to sting
Grandma would give me Andrews liver salts
And then we all would sing
Then I would start to feel sick to much food it wasn’t good
Maybe I shouldn’t of had the pud
Then the pain would go away
So I would eat another day
I dream of happy times
When I am there with my family
Together in the past
I want it always to last.

Thunder storm

Thunder Storm.

The sky is dim a bang here a crash there.
Then the rain comes drop by drop here and there.
The heavy tension in the air
The birds squealing loud and clear.
It’s on its way a thunder storm loud and heavy is the norm.
It always amazes me.
It shows me how I feel inside.
The trees do bend to and fro in the wind.
The awesome Trees cannot stand proud and tall.
As they bend to the wind around and around.
Losing there leaves in the violence of the wind.
I feel its presence all around me.
It does not stop for anything.
Crash bang and then it’s gone as quick as it came.
A rainbow in its place shining bright.
Like a star on the darkest night.
Then we feel safe once more.
Until the next time.
We will shut the door.

The Lonely Walk

I need rest to comfort my soul
As my heart yearns for other things
My life will only change as I step out on a limb
Gently walking ever so lightly balancing
My body and soul as one
