This was my journey to seek my self.
The Lonely Walk
I need rest to comfort my soul
As my heart yearns for other things
My life will only change as I step out on a limb
Gently walking ever so lightly balancing
My body and soul as one
My Journey is mine
Only I can take it
Taking it day by day
One step at a time looking around me
To see what I have missed before
In all this I may find myself
In all ways not known to me as yet
For I will be the person who I am supposed to be
And I will not forget
