Happiness

My heart it yearns for other things
As happiness seems to have wings
Always searching trying to find
The one true path to happy things
Life’s so hard looking all around
Thinking you have found the answer
Then its gone Feeling empty lonely and lost
But in realizing when you look again
You find more than you lost
Yet found is a strange feeling
Always wondering what to do
Why my life can not be true
But then I start a new
And I think again of what I have
And realize I have my self and
And inner peace is all I need
Just when years ago I prayed
And God planted a seed
A seed of love from God above
Which grew and grew
Into the love in me and you.
